{Contest} Win a Year’s Worth of Chuao Chocolate

Feb 5 by Anita 14 Comments

chuao sweepstakes 1

Hi all,

Thanks so much for all your kind wishes and congratulations. These last two weeks have seemed like a lifetime in a completely new reality. We’re learning more about Isabelle and how to be parents to her every day, and every day she seems to have grown a little more. It’s hard to believe that in another week she’ll be a month old.  We made a outing to the local baby store and a couple with a six month old in a stroller looked rather wistfully at us and said, “Enjoy her now. She’ll be big before you know it.” I can scarcely imagine. My days are measured in minutes and hours right now and six months seems unfathomably distant.

Needless to say I’m still working out how to get back into the kitchen. In fact, I know what I want to make for Valentine’s Day, I just have to find the time to do it. We’ll see if I succeed before the 14th!

In the meantime, I wanted to share with you a giveaway a contest that Chuao Chocolate is running for Valentine’s Day. You have the chance to win a year’s supply of chocolate from Chuao – a $300 value. Chuao makes some of my favorite specialty chocolate bars – unusual flavors that aren’t overworked or obscure the chocolate.  Their Potato Chip bar is my salty-snack-fiend guilty pleasure, and I’m also partial to their pop-rock Firecracker bar.

So if you’re interested in some offbeat chocolate, Chuao is a solid bet. They are regulars at the SF Chocolate Salon, which I’ll be attending in a few months. Or enter the contest for a chance at some free Chuao!

chuao sweepstakes 2

To enter: Go to Chuao’s contest page on Facebook and “like” the page. If you want, leave a comment below letting me know you entered, along with your favorite Chuao chocolate bar flavor. Chuao will select a winner each week who will receive a set of three Chuao bars. A Grand Prize winner will be selected after February 28 who will win a year’s supply of Chuao chocolate. Note the winners are selected by Chuao, not by Dessert First. All contest inquiries should be directed to [email protected].

Good luck!

This contest is administered by Chuao. All opinions expressed in the post are my own and not those of Chua0.

I “liked” Chuao’s contest on FB, and since I haven’t had the good fortune to try any of their chocolates I am just praying that I win so I can sample some!

Anita, I am sure it is hard to believe it, but time flies once you have a baby. My first born is 15, I am not sure where the last 15 years went. It is something everybody says but one day you will feel the same. Enjoy every second.

    She is so cute, congratulations!

I liked the FB page of Chuao. I’m a huge dessert person and have tried different kinds of chocolate (from Godiva to Teuscher). Haven’t tried Chuao’s chocolates at all but would love to. Hope to win =)
