Happy Holidays!

Dec 24 by Anita 1 Comment

Happy Monday! I hope you are all enjoying the holidays with your family and loved ones. It’s been ridiculously rainy and windy here – it won’t be a white Christmas here, but it’ll probably be a wet one.

Unfortunately, we weren’t able to finish sated issue 2 before the end of the year – you may have seen the announcement on the sated website. We are projecting to publish in January – hopefully before the baby arrives! In the meantime, we’re putting up some new material on the sated website to tide readers over.

Visit the website to see some excerpts from one of the articles I worked on for sated – a feature on cookies in a jar. We were looking for a festive gift idea, and wanted to experiment with some cookies that haven’t been translated into “jar format” yet. The final collection ranges from holiday classics like speculaas to updated variations like cranberry cornmeal biscotti. Stephanie did a fantastic job photographing the final products – all the photographs are courtesy of her.

I hope you enjoy the sneak peek at the article, and we look forward to sharing the finished issue with you all in 2013.

Happy holidays to all!
